Welcome back to our 3rd post in this Low Back Pain Series. In previous posts, we have been talking about how low back pain is usually treated in the medical community, how chiropractic can be an extremely safe and natural option to correct the cause (subluxation) of most low back pain, and now we will be discussing and showing you what a chiropractic adjustment looks like!
Chiropractic adjustments for low back pain are a gentle and effective way to help the body move and function better. Utilizing a specific thrust, called an adjustment, the chiropractor moves the joint that is stuck/misaligned. By doing so, the irritation that is causing the nerve interference and muscle tension is reduced. Through time and repetition, these adjustments start to train the body to hold the new positioning of the joint for longer periods so that the body doesn't revert back to it's abnormal alignment that is causing the low back pain.

Be sure to stay tuned for our next blog post where one of our patients will be giving their testimonial on how corrective chiropractic has helped them with their low back pain so they can reach their health goals!
